Happy Halloween!

It was one of the coldest Halloweens in decades. But just because you're bundled up doesn't make it any less fun. The season started, as usual with the decorating sugar cookies with some pretty thick colorful coats of frosting.  Pumpkins were carved. Johan made a MN Wild pumpkin for a local competition, but did not win. We thought it looked great though. 

The boys went trick-or-treating with their friends and mom and dad mostly operated the taxi service. It was a bittersweet bit of independence.  Now we just need to figure out how to make much of the candy disappear...
