2019 World Travel IV - Celebrity Sightings

It turns out Sundborn his home to one of the greatest hockey players in the world.  Tomas Jonsson, is one of 20 members of the triple gold club - players that have won a Stanley Cup, a World Cup, and an Olympic Gold medal. Tomas played for the NY Islanders n the early 1980s, where he won the Stanley Cup twice. He won the World Cup for Sweden in 1991, in Finland. He also was on the Swedish team that won the gold in the Olympics in Lillehammer in 1994! Quite an impressive list of accomplishments! The boys were excited, if a bit shy to meet Tomas. But he was very nice and showed them some of his accumulated 'hardware' from all those times playing hockey. Time will tell if any of the skills rubbed off on the boys.
