48 hours - still no air!
Well... there's, of course, the air that he breathes on his own.
To help with the motivation for nursing, our doc is trying a new approach. If Ericka is at the hospital when it is feeding time they will not give him any food through the nose tube - it is all self serve. It seems to be helping and we're making strides.
On a very different topic - the nurses are reporting that baby M is quite the night-owl. He seems to be very active between the hours of 3 and 5 in the morning. That'll be fun!

Welcome to the real world of parenthood! He looks great! Am so anxious for him to get home into his own bed. Keep up the great job of growing Mathias.
Love Aunt B
Tell Baby M that we have a fishing pole he can use next Memorial Day when he comes fishing. We did awesome this weekend! Glad to hear that he is doing good on the O2! Or should I say off the O2? The pole is a floatable Sponge Bob, which came in handy when Reagan chucked it over board! Keep up the great work.
