Progress... III
We're making great strides at nursing. It seems he's starting to figure out what to do.
Now we'll need to work on the stamina to be able to do it eight times a day... We're not quite there yet. After a couple of feedings he seems to get pretty tired.
Mathias is slated for a hearing exam tonight. Apparently those are done at midnight when it is quiet in the room and the nurses presumably have less to do. I'm not sure how they'll give him the instructions to press the button when he hears the beep, but I'm sure they know what they're doing.

I've been blog-hopping tonight and happened to come across your story. What an incredible, strong and blessed little boy you have.
My heart rejoices in your daily (big or small) victories. Know that each one of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
He sort of looks like a heavy metal kind of guy. They'll probably be playing Metallica.

It's not your imagination -- he really does keep getting more and more adorable everyday!
Oh he looks sooo cute!! Im glad he is getting the hang of nursing :) Good luck on his hearing test.. just keep in mind that babies while still in the NICU often fail that first hearing test so dont be worried if that happens.. My daughter failed hers and her next one she passed with flying colours!!
