Zero to 100 in 27 months

A while back we sat down and wrote a list of words (and/or expressions) M is using.  We had broken the 100-word barrier!  Although that list quickly became obsolete as new words are piling in by the day.  The most recent additions - causing us to scratch our heads - are "Hay bales" and "Windmill".  Were not sure where those came from...  But we're definitely at the stage where you better watch your mouth.

The list of M's first 100 words:
Again, airplane, Amy, apple, baa (as in “what does the sheep say?”), baby, ball, beach, big, blanket, blocks, blue, boat, book, bubble, bug, bus, bye-bye, car, carrots, cat, chase, cheese, clock, cracker, cup, digger (goes for anything that moves dirt around), dog, duck, dump truck, egg, Elmo (that”s the red puppet on Sesame Street), empty, eyes, fish, foot, fruit snacks, giraffe, green, green beans (yes, green beans made the list of the first 100!), hello, hippo, hot, hotdog, ice cream, Jeep (goes for any car that is not a sedan), juice, knee, lawn mower, leg, light, mama, Mathias, meow (as in "what does the cat say?"), mess, milk, monkey, moo (as in “what does the cow say?”), moon, more, no, oops (goes with “mess”), orange, out, outside, pancake, papa, peas, pig, piip (as in “what does the mouse say?”), pink, pizza, please, police, pool, purple, quack (as in “what does the duck say?”), red, sandbox, shoes, slide, strawberry, thank you, that, Thomas (the tank engine for those without young children), toes, too (as in “that”s a green bean. That”s a green bean too!”), tractor, train, tree, truck, up, vacuum cleaner, water, wheel, woof (as in “what does the dog say?”), yellow, yes, yucky.

Spoken Swedish words are few and far between. His receptive language in Swedish is pretty good though.
