Pumkins & candy

Just-in-time isn't just for streamlined manufacturers anymore. It also applies to domestic holiday decorations... With a few hours to spare before heading out for tricks-or-treats we carved our pumpkins (would have taken a third of the time without the helpers).

Then we roamed the neighborhood disguised as a fearsome monkey and a frightening giraffe. Mathias scored a fair amount of candy that he turned around and gave away to the kids that knocked on our door seeking bribes under idle threats of misdeeds.
