31 Weeks

As of today Ericka has made it to 31 weeks!  That's about a month longer than with Mathias!

In the most recent ultrasound, the weight of baby X was estimated at 3 lbs 1 oz (1400 g).  That is more than double Mathias' birth weight.

37 weeks would be considered full term.  So, 6 weeks to go...

The t-shirt was a gift from Erickas friend Jennifer.
Not sure it applies, but we think it is funny!

Hejsan,

Grattis (i förskott?).

Hello!
Congratulations to the baby to come!!! Hope you´re all doing great and that everthing goes as planned! Wonderful to see Mathias progress and grow!!
Over here in Sweden we´ve had a hard summer. Mathias broke his leg on the 5th of june and the doctor´s don´t think it will heel until new year. I´ve also been sick - kidneyproblems (in swedish - njursten, hydronefros, nefrostomi) and been in and out of hospital. My wonderful mum Bibbi and other relatives and friends has taken care of our children! Then the new car, the refridgerator and the washingmashine broke down... So we are all looking forward to start working again and get into daily rutines - and hope for some vacation next year instead.
Niclas is now 7 years and starts school "for real" - he likes school and loves to learn new stuff. He reads for us all every evening. Lucas i 5 years and will start his last year at daycare - next year he starts "pre-school-class". He loves all kinds of sports and plays in the footballteam (soccer) against 3 year older boys. Celine has turned one year. She loves mummy and grandma VERY much! She smiles almost all of the time and just loves the life! She loves to help us - put the laundry into the washingmashine, set the table and so on.
This autumn I will study mathematics (matematikdidaktik) 2,5 days a week and work as a "didaktikmentor" one day a week and the rest of the time I´ll be at home with the children. I´m really looking forward to all of that!
We´ll think of you all and hope for a wonderful time for you´re growing family!!
