Traveling grandparents

Farmor & Farfar came to visit for Thanksgiving.

They came for the turkey, the stuffing, the pump-kin pie... And, yes, meeting with the newest grand-child!

Mathias was happy for all the extra attention.

Now that they have left, he keeps asking for Farmor and Farfar waiting for their return.

I'm guessing they're waiting for their return too.

The two month milestone

One might think that turning two months is a glamorous stream of parties, celebrations, and fun.  But there is backside - the two month doctor's visit...

At the clinic yesterday, johan was administered no less than five different vaccinations (combined into merely two shots) and was given a clean bill of health!  He has been gaining weight at a rate of 1.3 oz (35 g) per day and now tips the scale to almost 11 lbs (5 Kg). 

The milestones at this age are cooing, tracking moving objects with eyes, and smiling. He's three for three!

Two months today!

Time flies and Johan has now been with us for two months.  Big brother gives a friendly hug!

8 hours of continuous sleep!

We're on the verge of Johan's 2-month birthday.  

His present to us: he has started sleeping for 7-8 hours per night!  He usually goes to bed around 8 and sleeps until four! What else could anyone ask for?!

He is also smiling regularly and it seems that he is starting to recognize us.  Everyone is happy for that!
