Big brother

For a brief moment in time, ten days to be exact, the boys had a much larger big brother in the house. While Pontus from Sundborn was here visiting we shoehorned in as much activity as we could (and celebrated Thanksgiving too). 

Happy Thanksgiving, Alianna!

We traveled to Fargo ND to celebrate Thanksgiving with Ericka's family. The boys were particularly excited to see, now 8-month old, cousin (ok, second cousin) Alianna. Before indulging in turkey and pumpkin pie, Johan got to read her a pre-nap version of all-time favorite book Goodnight Moon. Notice that Johan is wearing pajamas himself.  Because that's how he rolls for major holidays... 

Game Time

After a month of practices and going through the tryouts, Mathias landed on the B team (out of A, 2 B teams, and C). He has embraced the goalie role and spends half his time in the net and half skating. The team had its first regular season game and Mathias was covering the net. He kept all pucks out for two full periods and let one in during the third. Luckily, the offense put in four and the team's season is off to a terrific start. 17 games and five tournaments left in the season. We'll be spending a lot of time watching hockey in a COLD arena!
