So close...

Mathias came within five minutes of ice hockey from his first ever shut out.  In an unusual turn of events the ZORT were quite dominant against Osseo Maple Grove. For almost all of the game, the ZORT was up with something to zero. But with a few minutes left... one snuck in. Mathias was very disappointed. But that just leaves the glory for a different game. 

At the wax museum

The second grade staged a was museum of sorts. Amid Abraham Lincoln, Henry Ford, Muhammad Ali, and other dignitaries was Johan, I mean George Washington. Parents got to visit the museum where the students stood frozen. Upon being tapped on the shoulder each student would recite a brief description of the history of the person they were impersonating. We learned that George Washington was born on February 22nd 1732. He fought in the revolutionary war and became the nation's first president. He is also depicted on the 25 cent coin and on the dollar bill. Well cone, Johan, I mean... George.
