Disney World - Day I

Ever since we went last time, two years ago, I think we have all been itching to go back to Disney World. We headed out right after school on Tuesday. This makes for a very late night and we arrived at our hotel well after midnight.  The boys were exhausted but troopers.  With a slightly late start we hit the Magic Kingdom. The weather couldn't have been better. It was sunny and warm, but not too warm.
At the Kingdom we headed for the favorites from last time.  Per Johan's request we went to duke it out with Evil Emperor Zurg with Buzz Lightyear.  Mathias wanted to visit the Speedway track to see if he could set any lap records. We took a mid-day siesta at the hotel pool (which was fabulous) and returned for some evening rides and fireworks.
And we had to finish our evening with a spin on Dumbo because it is just a flat out beautiful ride.

Pumpkins

It's now officially pumpkin season.  Johan kicked it off with a school project. His task was to create a favorite book character from a pumpkin. He chose Fly Guy. I think he did quite well. 

Homecoming

With Farmor and Farfar here visiting we spent a chilly Friday night at the Homecoming football game.  We put on our bravest game faces and fan gear to cheer the home team as they won a decisive victory over Watertown.  Go Tigers!
