Ready for halloween!

Ericka and Johan went out for some last minute pumpkin shopping. The pickings were slim but they came away with a handful of pumpkins. On the eve of Halloween we carved a couple of scary faces. We are now ready for ghost and ghouls to arrive. Booo! 

Adding on

After taking most of the summer adding a plank here and a plank there, the tree house is finished! It is a one room structure with a patio on the roof and a zip line for a quick escape. 

No girls allowed!  Well... mom is, of course, welcome. And Farmor and Aunt B can always come visit. Friends like Bella and Alicia can stop by too. Bot no others, unless exceptions are made!  

Skating With Nordy

Nordy - the mascot of the Minnesota Wild - came to visit the little hockey players.  Being somewhat part of an NHL team he was almost able to keep up with the kids.  They played a few games and took photos. He was even kind enough to sign Mathias' hockey stick. Now he better not break it! 

For the love of hockey

Mathias continues his work developing the hockey player look.  Last night he pulled out another tooth. To me it seemed to be barely loose when he started pulling on it.... But there is it - milk tooth #7 added to the history books. 

Perhaps the last bike ride of 2014

We're seizing the opportunity to squeeze the last bit of warming sunlight out of the biking season.  Soon enough the bikes will trade places with skis in the garage and weekends will be spend on other downhill activities.
