Running like tigers

We went running this weekend.  And we've got the t-shirts to prove it!  The local elementary school put on the by now third annual Tiger Dash for its students and families. 

Ericka and Johan polished off a one mile run. Mathias and I plodded through the 5K. It was a beautiful spring morning for a run. Gets your weekend off to a good start. 

Lunch!

Today, finally, was Johan's first grade parent lunch. He was very excited about it and has been talking about it all week. Both Ericka and I had the privilege of sharing his lunch hour. We'll do it again on 2nd grade!

Ericka and Johan spent a weekend in northern Minnesota at "Sjölunden" at Swedish camp. In between eating Swedish food and multiple rounds of fika, they learned some Swedish. They also covered Christmas, midsummer and flag day in that single weekend.
